Welcome to Phoenixis.ca, home of Logee Photography.
My name is Jillian Logee and I’m an archaeologist and photographer based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada (though travel is never out of the question). I love what I do and have mixed my passions together to form a full-fledged career, chronicling the world and the lives of the people I meet as I go.
Everything you need to know about my professional work can be found here. I hope you enjoy your visit to my site.
I have some new prints up for sale on Etsy, this time a whole section of abstract work I created recently. Only selected sizes have been uploaded, but custom sizing is available.
A photograph I took of my one of sister’s (Erinn Logee) Agony of Beauty dolls has been published in Volume 23, Issue 1 of the Glass Art Society’s News. Members of the society can view the publication here.
If you’ve been watching on Facebook, you’ve seen all these pictures already, but I thought I’d add a slideshow here for those who don’t have access to the site.
It was a beautiful wedding and I couldn’t be more happy for these two. Many years of happiness lie ahead of them!
I had the undeniable pleasure of photographing the wedding of my beautiful sister and her wonderful now-husband. I love them both dearly and it was an honour to share in their day this way. I can’t wait to get more photos finished, but for the moment, there is this photo.
I had the pleasure of taking portraits for Sashiere & Jordan this past November. They were adorable and bubbly and lots of fun to photograph. The shoot took place in beautiful Fish Creek Provincial on a crisp November morning.
Ian and Christine were married on August 13, 2011 in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Banff, Alberta. The gorgeous setting provided the perfect backdrop for one of the most loving ceremonies I’ve seen.
Much love and heartfelt wishes to them both as they continue on their lives together!
Last week, I had the pleasure of photographing Meredith, a Toronto local who was in Calgary visiting friends and family.
We took the photo-shoot down to the scenic Bow River near Bowness Park. The sun was shining and the water was crystal clear. Meredith was a lot of fun to photograph and I hope to see her again soon!
